Promover los derechos de los menores y su bienestar. Eliminar las violaciones de los derechos de los menores en nuestra sociedad.
1. Visitas de cortesía a los responsables políticos que juegan un papel fundamental para influir en las actividades y políticas que afectan a los
niños/as.
2. Visitas casa por casa para identificar los casos de violaciones de los
derechos del niño, así como para reconciliar a los niños desplazados con sus familias y apoyo a
cuidadores (en los casos que fuera posible).
3. Producción de películas, publicaciones, programas de TV
/ Radio y la organización de conciertos; relacionados con la sensibilización y denuncia social.
4. Educación, asesoramiento, adquisición de habilidades para los
niños/as en circunstancias especialmente difíciles.
5. Realización de talleres para los miembros, voluntarios, alumnos / estudiantes, los cuidadores y el público en general; rompiendo estigmatizaciones, dar apoyo
e información... para favorecer la integración de los menores que viven en la calle.
6. Creación de redes con otras organizaciones.
African Child Foundation es una organización de socios. La condición de miembros está abierta a cualquiera que esté dispuesto a identificarse con la visión de la organización y
se comprometa a promover un cambio positivo en la sociedad. Los
voluntarios/as son bienvenidos.

2. Productos de alimentación, ropas y artículos de higiene.
3. Dotación para nuevas iniciativas.
4. Apoyo educativo para los menores.
5. Materiales de asistencia sanitaria.
6. El patrocinio de TV y programas de cine o radio.
Podrás participar en todas las actividades de sensibilización, tras las jornadas de formación de voluntariado impartidas por African Child.
Dependiendo de tu formación, podrás impartir clases a menores o crear talleres adecuados para los menores que viven en la calle y a personas en riesgo de exclusión social.
Ser parte de un proyecto solidario sin intermediarios.

BACKGROUND
African child Foundation is a non-profit,non-governmental organization founded in November 2003 in response to the growing number of children on the streets of
Calabar.It has since expanded to encompass the rights of children in the communities within which we work.
OUR VISION
We have a vision of a world in which the rights and wellbeing of every child is promoted and upheld,irrespective of rules, religion and cultural
beliefs.
OUR MISSION
The mission of African child is to promote children's rights/welfare and to reduce child right violations in our society.
OBJECTIVES
1. To advocate for the rights of children.
2. To reconcile street children with their families and support the caregivers to provide the basic needs of the children.
3. To disseminate child right information to the General Public.
4. To train,counsel,care for and provide rehabilitation for street child and other children in especially difficult circumstances.
5. To build the capacities of its members,caregivers,volunteers and other members of the society.
ACTIVITIES OF ACF
1. Advocacy visits to policy makers and community gate keepers who play vital roles in influencing activities and policies that impact on
children.
2. Community surveillance to checkmate child abuse in the communities within which we work.
3. Production of films, documentaries,TV/Radio programmes and Newsletters as well as organizing charity concerts to create awareness on children's rights and to
raise funds for our projects.
4. Education,counseling,skills acquisition and micro credit programs for children in especially difficult circumstances.
5. Capacity building programmes for members, volunteers,caregivers, children and members of the public.
6. Networking with other organizations to provide care and support to children as well as to promote and defend children's rights.
