ESTA ORGANIZACIÓN DESARROLLA SU TRABAJO EN CALABAR (NIGERIA)

Trata de mejorar la situación de los menores que viven en la calle y reducir su número,

¿A quiénes consideramos que son menores que viven en la calle?

Todo aquel menor que ha sido abandonado, que esta en riesgo de exclusión social y que vive en la calle. Estos menores viven sin hogar, vulnerados sus derechos y sin ninguna protección, son más vulnerables que otros menores que tienen la suerte de poder cubrir sus necesidades más básicas. Estos menores día a día tienen que luchar por sus vidas, trabajando en cualquier cosa para sacar dinero para comer y asumiendo los riesgos que tiene vivir en la calle (drogas, intimidación, abusos...).

¿Cuando sean mayores estos menores que pasará?

Estos menores crecerán llenos de odio hacia una sociedad que no les cuidó, sin miedo a sufrir maltratos o abusos, con rabia por no haber cumplido sus sueños como otros niños/as lo han hecho, sin formación...

Es un problema social que nos afecta a todos/as. Ahora es el momento de actuar.

Y con esta web nuestro principal objetivo es:

Concienciar, Visibilizar y Actuar en nuevas iniciativas que apoyen directamente a proyectos locales (no existiendo ningún tipo de burocracia, con lo que facilita que la ayuda sea directa y no haya ningún tipo de intermediario que nos reste eficacia). 

African Child actúa tanto desde la raíz del problema, haciendo denuncia social, sensibilización y educación en colegios... como directamente con los menores que están sufriendo dicha situación.

En la parte superior de la página te informamos cómo se originó esta organización, donde exactamente estamos situados, como nos organizamos, qué programas intentamos llevar a cabo, la situación del menor que vive en la calle mostrando sus causas y consecuencias, un espacio donde podéis expresar cualquier duda de la organización o cualquier comentario que pueda ayudar o mejorar.

Who believe are children living on the street?

Any child who has been abandoned, they are at risk of social exclusion and living on the streets. These children are homeless, violated their rights and without any protection, are more vulnerable than other children who are lucky enough to meet their basic needs. These children every day have to fight for their lives, working at anything to get money for food and taking the risks that have to live on the street (drugs, intimidation, abuse ...).

These children grow up full of hatred for a society that cared for them, without fear of mistreatment or abuse, angry for not fulfilling their dreams as other children / as they have no training ...

It's a social problem that affects us all / as. Now is the time to act.

Awareness, visible and act on new initiatives that directly support local projects (there is no type of bureaucracy,this makes a direct payment and has not any less effective intermediary).

African Child works both from the root of the problem, making social criticism, awareness and education in schools ... and directly with children who are experiencing this situation.
